​An exciting Regional Marketing Manager - SEA job has opened up at an expanding medical device company. Based in Singapore, this role reports directly to the General Manager for the region.

About the Regional Marketing Manager - SEA Role:

The Regional Marketing Manager - SEA is responsible for developing and implementation of SEAPakistan business strategy in alignment with Global and Asia Strategy. Working closely with SEAPakistan General Manager and Commercial Operations Manager, the Marketing Manager will work through in-country marketing teams and will focus on developing strategic initiatives, portfolio management, marketing services, market access and business development opportunities for deployment across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

Formulate and implement SEA insights-driven marketing strategy that is aligned with the broader local and regional strategy

Understand the economic, market and industry trends in SEA and use trend data to maximise opportunities and minimise risk exposure

Build competitive knowledge in the SEA markets

Prepare business cases and plans for major identified opportunities (e.g. new products, new segments, new categories)

Lead market shaping in SEA market, defend and improve market positioning and depth of market access by developing strong, trust-based relationships with external partners, customers and key stakeholders

Support the development of country strategic marketing plans that contribute to the achievement of volume/mix, revenue and margin objectives/budget in alignment with the SEA + business objectives

Work with Asia to build and develop marketing capability of SEA business and marketing associates

Define the overall SEA and product and portfolio strategy, including pricing strategy in alignment with local country requirements and global Diabetes Care product and portfolio strategy

Manage strategic portfolio of products from commercialisation to obsolescence, including all activities related to pre-launch, launch and phasing out

Lead in market model mapping in partnership with local country marketers

Support Country Sales and Marketing’s key reporting processes such as (budget/forecasting, fact-based forecasting, key success factors, sales and manufacturing revenue projections)

Ensure launch excellence and working closely with global/Asia marketing in the provision of regional marketing expertise to local organisations in the area of product marketing, branding and digital marketing

Develop effective marketing programmes/communications in SEA

Partner with in-country marketeers to support and coach the Field Sales team with implementation of marketing messages and sales tools

Manage and control the SEA marketing budget to ensure key sources of growth are supported with investment, effectively and efficiently

Prepare periodic sales forecasts, co-ordination with manufacturing and supply chain in order to ensure healthy stock situation and maintain effective inventory control

Work with SEA Commercial Operations, SEA Supply Chain and in-country Business Leaders and Marketeers to ensure demand forecasts are reflective of ambition, reality and supported by adequate activities

Collaborate with Global/Asia Marketing to ensure smooth brand transition

Cover customer communications (distributors and channel partners), HCPs and patient/consumer/shopper communications

Coach and guide country marketeers to develop and implement local marketing plans

To be successful in this Regional Marketing Manager - SEA role, you must have a bachelor's degree in Business/Marketing or related field.

Key Requirements:

Minimum of eight years' experience in a similar role within the medical device, consumer healthcare or pharmaceuticals industry
