An exciting Regional Media Manager job has just become available at a rapidly-expanding FMCG company. Reporting to the Regional Marketing Director, this is a role for someone looking to lead the media function across the region.
About the Regional Media Manager Role:
In this business critical role, you will transform the media strategy, planning, buying and execution as the business continues to scale in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
Establish and lead the media function and strategy in the regional HQ by creating the right systems, capabilities and agency roster while managing and coaching a compact team
Be a media strategic thought leader and partner for local markets
Ensure alignment on the overall communications strategy, audience insights and channel mix development to drive the right business process, marketing results and investment ROI
Work with local markets to drive the execution of regional media programmes
Set KPIs for gauging the impact of media especially digital activities and manage the progress of KPIs
Monitor paid media campaigns including analysis/review of media plans and actual investments to deliver both business and marketing objectives
Build a regional media strategy in line with business needs and develop consolidated plans that can be executed across the region
Provide analysis as needed on for inputs and recommendations to budget planning across all marketing investments/spends including ATL and BTL
Based on consumer receptivity, understanding and key media drivers of each country, develop solid and differentiated media plans, in collaboration with regional and local brand teams for winning in different media vehicles, especially in digital/mobile
Demonstrate leadership and guidance to partners and stakeholders on digital marketing
Share knowledge and train/ educate team members on digital channels and strategy
Be a key knowledge holder in accelerating e-commerce and in driving analytical thinking in media
Collaborate closely with media agency, publishers, partners on regional deals as well as on overall media strategy, guidelines, savings
Lead media-focused research in collaboration with key partners including cross-media, ROI and other media studies
To succeed in the Regional Media Manager job, you will bring a wealth of experience in media roles, particularly within the FMCG/CPG space.
Key Requirements:
Degree in business or marketing
Minimum of 10 years' experience in media and brand roles, with outstanding capabilities in digital
Experience in end-to-end e-commerce management is a plus
Client-side experience and/or line brand management experience is a plus
Self-driven with a high standard on end-results
Proactive leadership and confidence to find opportunities for growth via media
Ability to influence at all levels
Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate and ability to communicate effectively at all levels
Ability to build capability across organisation and hands-on coaching to manage remote reportees
Ability to thrive in a VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex and Ambiguous) environment
Readiness to travel in the region
