About the Sales Director Role:
Reporting to the Co-founder, you will establish and build relationships with key decision makers in the technology space. You will drive and manage the media/events portfolio and contribute ideas to develop new revenue opportunities and customer bases.
Key Responsibilities:
Generate and identify new clients and opportunities through cold calling, relationship building and networking
Develop a thorough understanding of tech trends and new technologies in the market to be able to drive conversations at a senior level
Manage relationships with CIOs, CFOs and CTOs
Develop an integrated media solution with project and research teams
Work with research teams to develop a targeted prospect list
The successful candidate has a hunter mentality and enjoys solution selling.
Key Requirements:
A degree in business
At least five years of sales and business development experience, preferably within the professional services, media/conferences space
Strong relationship builder coupled with good commercial sense
Self-driven individual who enjoys working in an environment that is scrappy and entrepreneurial
