​An exciting, newly created Sales Manager role has just come up at an international industrial company in Singapore. Reporting directly to the Managing Director for the region, this is a role for someone looking to develop their sales career further.

About the Sales Manager Role:

In this business critical role, you will be responsible for promoting the company’s portfolio of products and solutions as part of their Asia Pacific sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands the customer base and ensure strong company presence

Develop, build and maintain strong, long-lasting partner relationships with clients, stake holders and design firms/institutions

Market and promote the company’s solutions through organising seminars, presentations and events

Work closely with Asia Pacific marketing team for branding and positioning of company in the market

Identify emerging markets to find new sales opportunities

Record and maintain the sales reporting system

Manage quotations and sales margins based on company guidelines

Present market overview, sales budgets, revenue, expenses reports and realistic forecasts to management on regular basis

Handle and resolve customer complaints regarding products or service

To succeed as in the Sales Manager role, you are a self-starter who thrives on exceeding targets.

Key Requirements:

University Degree in Civil Engineering is ideal

Sales experience in building and construction

Experience selling to and working with structural designers and architects

Knowledge and understanding of the principles of structural design

Strong customer and service orientation

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with good command of written and spoken English

Ability to independently manage sales activities
