​• Lives the vision and mission of CSD in overall
alignment with SGH vision, mission and values
• Contribute actively to a work environment and
culture that encourages a consultative multidisciplinary integrated team approach with a
philosophy of continuous improvement and
customer centricity

• Contribute actively to risk management
identification, analysis and mitigation to ensure
all CSD activities are compliant to required
regulations, policies and procedures.

• Contribute actively to proactive and appropriate
budget and manpower planning to ensure CSD
can operate efficiently and effectively

• Contribute feedback and continuous
improvement efforts towards a high performing
culture in CSD

• Contribute actively to a safe and healthy
workplace

• Contribute actively to establishing and
continuously improving on the end to end new
clinical services development process in line with
internal and external stakeholder expectations

• Participates in wider clinical service planning,
implementation and evaluation processes to
ensure new clinical services align with SGH
strategic objectives and priorities

• Efficiently and effectively manage projects
assigned in partnership with relevant clinical and
administrative stakeholders towards agreed
targets (Time, budget, quality, etc)

• For projects assigned, ensure new clinical
services are developed in a proactive, planned,
holistic, consistent and seamless way

• For projects assigned, ensure important enterprise
activities related to new clinical services
incorporated early e.g. value driven care, care
paths, risk and safety assessments, pre-HMDP
planning, etc

• Contribute to and prepare relevant reports to
enable appropriate management oversight and
governance of new clinical services in SGH

• Contribute to the development of and meet CSD
performance metrics

• Regular meetings are held with and updates
provided to stakeholders for projects assigned to
ensure timely information exchange and follow-up
action

• Prepare regular and timely reports for relevant
leadership to enable appropriate governance and
oversight

• Productive and collaborative relationships and
alliances are built and nurtured with internal and
external stakeholders

• Support special projects and duties as assigned
based on contingent and evolving needs of SGH


Education, Training and Experience
- Degree in Health Life Sciences preferably medical, nursing, allied health
- Masters in Healthcare Management or MBA preferred
- Experience in healthcare management and new clinical services development
- Demonstrated competencies required of the job
