Job Description
As part of SingHealth 2019s digitalisation drive to further enhance patient services and innovation, you will ensure that SingHealth 2019s IT systems operate with essential IT governance practices to facilitate system robustness and security. You will also play a role in developing data governance processes to ensure safe use of data. The broad areas of the job scope include the following:
Digital Governance- Identify and propose improvements in digital governance processes to strengthen governance of IT systems for the organisation;
Review of compliance with established IT Security policies and procedures;
Review of IT systems to ensure that the IT & Data control measures are in place and comply with SingHealth2019s standards;
Develop localised IT policies to operationalise requirements stipulated by regulatory and IT digital governance framework / policies;
Govern all digital initiatives in partnership with the stakeholders;
Conduct briefings to SingHealth staff and IT Support staff on IT governance requirements; and\n- Develop digital publicity material to create awareness on IT governance best practices.
Data Governance
Support the Head, Office of Data & Digital Governance in identifying and proposing improvements in data governance processes to strengthen data governance for the organisation;
Facilitate staff 2019s adherence to an enterprise data governance framework comprising data policies, standards and guidelines; and
Conduct briefings to SingHealth staff and IT support staff on the data governance and data security requirements.
You will also identify trends in the information technology governance domain to help the organisation achieve business objectives while ensuring robust governance and security.
Job Requirements
Degree in Computer Science, Information Management or Management Information Systems or related fields
Minimum 8 years of Information Technology experience, preferably with at least 5 years in IT governance and risk management
Experience in handling IT innovation projects from governance and compliance standpoints
Good understanding of formal structure, processes and stakeholders involved in IT governance decision-making process
Certification in ITIL, COBIT, CISA, CRISC, CISM will be advantageous
Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to get buy-in from stakeholders
Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
