Head of Marketing

Job Description

The roles and responsibilities of a Head of Marketing may include, but are not limited to:

  • Developing and executing a marketing strategy that drives revenue growth, customer engagement, brand awareness.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as product, sales, and customer success to ensure that marketing efforts align with the company's overall business objectives.

  • Leading a team of marketers to create and execute campaigns across various channels, including email, social media, content marketing, events, and paid advertising.

  • Market research, understand customer needs and preferences, the competition, and identify new opportunities and using the insights to inform sales focus, marketing campaigns and product development.

  • Developing a data-driven approach to track and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, and using the insights to optimize campaigns for better results.

  • Track and analyze the performance of marketing department and report regularly to the executive team. They should identify opportunities for improvement and make data-driven decisions to optimize marketing efforts.

  • Building a strong brand image and positioning strategy that differentiates the company from competitors.

  • Managing budgets and allocating resources to ensure cost-effective marketing campaigns that deliver a positive return on investment.

  • Developing and implementing sales enablement strategies that support the sales team in achieving their goals.

  • Responsible for hiring, training, and managing the marketing team. They should foster a culture of creativity, innovation, and excellence to inspire and motivate team members to work towards common goals.

Qualifications Requirement

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Proven experience of at least 8-10 years in marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role

  • Experience in the B2B technology industry, preferably in software, hardware, Cloud or SaaS.

  • Knowledge of marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and analytics tools.

  • Experience in driving customer acquisition, activation and new monetization opportunities with strong focus on ROI, CAC and other Marketing efficiency metrics

  • Familiar with content strategy and alignment with business objectives

  • Good knowledge of digital marketing channels such as SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and content marketing.
