Head of Marketing
The roles and responsibilities of a Head of Marketing may include, but are not limited to:
Developing and executing a marketing strategy that drives revenue growth, customer engagement, brand awareness.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as product, sales, and customer success to ensure that marketing efforts align with the company's overall business objectives.
Leading a team of marketers to create and execute campaigns across various channels, including email, social media, content marketing, events, and paid advertising.
Market research, understand customer needs and preferences, the competition, and identify new opportunities and using the insights to inform sales focus, marketing campaigns and product development.
Developing a data-driven approach to track and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, and using the insights to optimize campaigns for better results.
Track and analyze the performance of marketing department and report regularly to the executive team. They should identify opportunities for improvement and make data-driven decisions to optimize marketing efforts.
Building a strong brand image and positioning strategy that differentiates the company from competitors.
Managing budgets and allocating resources to ensure cost-effective marketing campaigns that deliver a positive return on investment.
Developing and implementing sales enablement strategies that support the sales team in achieving their goals.
Responsible for hiring, training, and managing the marketing team. They should foster a culture of creativity, innovation, and excellence to inspire and motivate team members to work towards common goals.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience of at least 8-10 years in marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
Experience in the B2B technology industry, preferably in software, hardware, Cloud or SaaS.
Knowledge of marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and analytics tools.
Experience in driving customer acquisition, activation and new monetization opportunities with strong focus on ROI, CAC and other Marketing efficiency metrics
Familiar with content strategy and alignment with business objectives
Good knowledge of digital marketing channels such as SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and content marketing.
Good time management skills and the ability to prioritise.
Ability to work in a high growth and fast paced environment
