Job Title: QA Tester (Beginner) (MAX 4163)

 

Work location: Central

Duration : 12 months contract

No. of resources needed: 1

 

Monthly Basic Salary: $3200 - $5000

Job description

 

Responsibilities: 

1. Assist Product Owner to lead the Agile team and deliver the product road map required to support the business growth.

2. Acquire in-depth understanding of business processes to articulate use-cases/user-stories for identified features/capabilities for the platforms

3. Work in agile framework and be accountable for delivery of product build road map by ensuring that platform road maps prioritized against business are published regularly

4. Engage key stakeholders periodically to refine business requirements and work towards maximising the product value based on the feedback

5. Collaborate with squad members to deliver wireframes, user journeys, and product backlog, and other artefacts as needed to support technical design and development

6. Be responsible for modification and enhancements of existing products to address emerging business/market, user or regulatory needs

7. Conduct market research on assigned industries/sectors and identifying key players in the sectors

8. Perform other project administrative tasks such as handling of presentation decks for senior management, assisting in organising inception workshops, regional stakeholder managements (PSC) etc

9. Coordinate with various key stakeholders to prepare UAT Test cases and review of test results based on targeted deliverables. Liaise with vendors or other departments to ensure testing is complete and results are documented and filed.

10. Develop test scenarios and perform system testing based on test plans.

11. UAT support and coordination: Support user acceptance testing by coordinating with end users, gathering feedback.

12. Reporting to Delivery Lead

 

Key requirements:

1. Candidate should possess at least bachelor’s degree in business management, IT, Science, Mathematics, Engineering or Digital Innovation.

2. At least 2-3 years of experiences, preferably in Banking domain.

3. Resourceful and possess strong analytical skills

4. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications

5. Experience in using JIRA and Confluence, SQL.

Familiarity with Agile project delivery methodologies will be considered favourably

6. Pro-active and independent with a team player mentality

7. Eager to take on challenges, driven and motivated to grow

8. Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills to ensure the product roadmap and features are well presented and buy-in obtained from stakeholders.
