We are looking for a Business Development Manager with experience in the digital marketing, advertising and management consulting space to grow the business at GrowthOps.
This candidate will work with the Chief Growth Officer to develop end to end sales strategy and to build out a solid pipeline across small to enterprise-level sales for GrowthOps strategy, creative and growth marketing practices.
This will be a target based role with a competitive commission package.
This role is for the Asia market and the candidate can be based in Singapore or Kuala Lumpur.
Responsibilities of the Business Development Manager
Work in partnership with the Chief Growth Officer to develop plans and strategies for developing business and achieving the company’s sales goals
Take the lead in developing the deal from inception to proposal and support the account until it is handed over to the GrowthOps Client Servicing teams.
Assist in the development of the sales plan.
Hunt and farm for new opportunities by tapping on personal network, GrowthOps’ network and through the company’s own PR & digital marketing efforts
Prepares forecasts and KPI reporting for upper management, for use in organizational planning, financial forecasting, budget setting and strategic planning
Build processes and workflow for manual top-down reachout, onboarding, activation, and expansion
Evangelise the GrowthOps services and personally help close significant deals
Leverage on partnerships with marketing technology platforms to synergize sales opportunities
Work collaboratively across internal teams in different countries/ practices to drive successful closure to all deals
Provide full visibility into the sales pipeline at every stage of development
Establish and foster partnerships and relationships with key customers both externally and internally
This ideal candidate should be excited by the business consulting and digital marketing industry as well as by the challenge of selling into new markets, strategizing pitch proposals, negotiating complex deals and closing the deals with clients independently.
The ideal candidate should bring strong relationships with enterprise clients as well as work experience in the digital/creative/advertising/management consultancy space
Strong analytical and quantitative skills would be a plus; ability (or willingness to learn) to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions
Strength in problem solving, issue-resolution, ability to work in a deadline-driven work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask must be evident
Demonstrated strong relationship-building and communication skills, with a strong presence in boardroom environments
Skills and Qualifications
● 7-10+ years of relevant sales experience
● Demonstrated track record of successful sales experience, bringing deals in the range of SGD 300K to SGD 5m deals
● Both 80% hunter and 20% farmer characteristics
● Proven ability to influence external clients, partners and internal teams &
● Experience in Salesforce and the full Google Suite such as drive, Slides, Doc, Sheet and Gmail are critical
