JOB DESCRIPTION:

 

The first bank to hold three world’s best bank titles at the same time, and the creator of the award-winning Sparks mini-series, is looking for a Content Strategist to join its Group Strategic Marketing & Communications (GSMC) team, for a six-month cover role.

 

·       The Content Strategist is responsible for conceptualizing, designing and executing content marketing experiences across social media, websites and internal communications channels that shape perceptions about the brand.

 

·       Well-versed in digital media production, with an intimate understanding of how marketing campaigns are brought to life through storytelling from ideation, to publishing, to amplification, the Content Strategist will work closely with content team members, our dedicated in-house production studio as well as other GSMC teams like media relations, Bank’s Foundation or digital experience design.

 

Job duties & responsibilities

1. Drive the editorial, creative and amplification processes to tell stories related to the Bank’s brand.

 

2. Participate in ideation, story research, production and publishing of regular content formats with engaging storytelling that drives the bank’s key messages and priorities


3. Assist in content marketing campaign execution and project management, coordinating assets and timelines between internal and external stakeholders.

 

4. Optimise, maintain, and publish content assets across websites and social media to ensure annual performance KPIs are met

 

5. Assist in creating performance and social listening reports

 

6. Ensuring quality and consistency in materials produced and published

 

 

Experience

·       3-5 years’ experience in a communications, media and/or marketing function

 

Core competencies

1. Proven work experience in marketing campaign management and online publishing

2. Deep understanding of managing brand accounts on social media

3. Highly developed communication, interpersonal skills to motivate and work cooperatively with internal and external stakeholders.

4. Excellent project and stakeholder management skills

5. Strong sense of ownership of results

6. Ability to work under pressure of tight deadlines

7. Quick learner when it comes to complex topics, and adept at breaking down such topics into digestible and engaging content.

8. Good understanding of banking is preferred.

 

Technical Competencies

1. Operational knowledge in all digital media formats

2. Well-versed in spoken and written English

3. Understanding and use of data and research to inform content strategies

4. Experience in managing and optimising content on social media accounts

5. Proficiency in digital video/photo post-production using Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop is a plus
